Lincoln County Public Works had a 12” water main break near the intersection of Hwy 16 N Business and Charter Lane. The 12” water main was repaired and placed back into service at approximately 11:30 am on September 21, 2016. Full system pressure and flow should return to normal by 2:00 pm on September 21, 2016. Please be advised that there is a System Pressure Advisory/Boil Water Notice in affect for all consumers south of the intersection of Hwy 16 N Business and Charter Lane, Denver NC Only. Lincoln County Public Works is testing the domestic water system at multiple locations for precautionary measures in accordance with NCDEQ Guidelines and Procedures.
