The 2016-2025 Draft State Transportation Improvement Program(STIP) provides the schedule of
projects proposed for full or partial funding across the state over the next 10 years. A public information session will held in Hickory on Monday, April 13th.
The 2016-2025 Draft State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) provides the schedule of
projects proposed for full or partial funding across the state over the next 10 years. It is one of our
most comprehensive programs ever, including 1,073 projects across all transportation modes and all
100 counties. These projects will benefit every corner of the state by improving connectivity, reducing
congestion, enhancing safety and strengthening our highways, which support economic growth, job
creation and a high quality of life for North Carolinians.
The information for this regions will be held on April 13 in Hickory, NC for Divisions 11 & 12 (Division 11 - Alleghany, Ashe, Avery, Caldwell, Surry, Watauga, Wilkes, Yadkin; Division 12 - Alexander, Catawba, Cleveland, Gaston, Iredell, Lincoln)
The meeting will be held at the Western Piedmont Council of Government Offices, 1880 2nd Avenue NW, Hickory, NC 28349 from 4-7pm
