Budget at a Glance is a document to help citizens understand how tax dollars are being spent in an "info-graphic" format. It includes a breakdown of the tax dollar, top funding priorities for the year, upcoming capital projects & more.
The Budget at a Glance document was designed to help citizens better understand and digest the budget while allowing them to see a breakdown of the tax dollar, the County Commissioners top funding priorities for the year, current and upcoming capital projects, revenues and expenses, updates to infrastructure, and improvement to services all in a visual format. The County Manager's Office and Finance Department collaborated on the first ever document of its kind in Lincoln County in 2021 for the FY2021-2022 budget cycle. We hope it helps highlight what is important to the community and shows that decisions on spending tax dollars are carefully considered and prioritized with good judgement.
