Lincoln County has moved up from 11th to 10th in the region for the number of Emergency Room (ER) visits at CMC-Lincoln for flu-like illness...34 (4%) compared to last week’s 15 ER visits (1.9%).
Lincoln County (at 4%) is still below the percentage of visits to other hospital ER’s in the region (5.3%) and the state (7.2%).
Thanks to our local partner agencies, schools and providers, throughout the flu season the Health Department will be collecting additional data on attendance and illnesses as a means of tracking flu activity in the county. This data will then be forwarded to local media and posted on the county website, as well as shared with other agencies and interested parties.
