The purpose of the open house is to receive input on a proposed corridor design for
the Carolina Thread Trail along Clarks Creek and Walker Branch riparian corridors in
Lincolnton. The trail corridor on this map is a concept so that landowners can be
involved in fine tuning and defining the actual location of the trail and amenities.
The design will outline the conceptual corridor alignment within a 30 foot swath, as
well as identify parking locations and public access points.
We look forward to hearing from you at the open house on August 25th. The open house is designed as a drop-in that will last from 4:30-7:00pm. The event will be held at Lincolnton City Hall, 114 West Sycamore St.
