Serves as a Quasi-judicial board appointed by the Commissioners. Hears appeals, variances and interpretations of various Lincoln County Ordinances. It may also grant Special Use Permits or Variances.
Appeals from decisions of the Board of Adjustment may be made only to Superior Court.
Meets the 4th Monday of each month (as needed) @ 6:30pm in the Board of Commissioners Room at the Administration Building, 353 N. Generals Blvd., Lincolnton, NC. Members
The Board of Adjustment is composed of seven members, each appointed at large. Of the seven members five serve all full time representatives and two are alternates. The Board of Adjustment has final authority on variances and administrative appeals.
Meeting Schedule
The regular meeting time of the Board of Adjustment is the fourth Monday of each month (unless otherwise posted) at 6:30 pm in the Lincoln County Administration Building. The meeting schedule and application deadline dates are available here.
