Landfill and Tipping Fees
Landfill Availability Fees
Lincoln County charges an "availability fee," currently $140.00 per year, to improved properties which help cover the operating costs for Convenience and Recycling Centers, along with the county maintained Landfill. The proper and sanitary disposal of garbage helps prevent the spread of diseases and reduces the likelihood of environmental damage. The availability fee assures that our residents will have a place to safely dispose of their waste for years to come.
Landfill Tipping Fees
Haulers and other businesses that need to dispose of waste at the landfill are required to pay a "Tipping Fee". This is to help pay for the maintenance of the landfill needed to supply these haulers with a place to dispose of Lincoln County generated waste. The only waste accepted is waste that is generated in Lincoln County. No outside of county waste will be accepted.
