Updated Reservation Information for 2025 with CivicRec
We are excited to offer new online reservation and registration options through the CivicRec platform.
If you are interested in renting a building or park shelter, please visit the Lincoln County CivicRec site at the link below and create an account. Once you have created an account, you can reserve park shelters online directly.
If you are interested in renting the Howards Creek or North Brook community buildings, please create an account then call our office so that staff can complete your reservation.

ATTENTION: The shelter at Beattys Ford Park is not available for group rentals or party usage until further notice. We will not be taking rentals for the shelter in 2025. Group events will not be allowed to setup at the park to insure that all areas are open for public use.

Beattys Ford Park- The swim beach area, concessions building, additional parking and fishing peir additions are now complete and open for public use. The swim beach opens in late May and closes at the end of September.

The Beattys Ford Access Area is operated by Lincoln County, North Carolina Wildlife as a Duke Energy recreation property.
Westwinds Park- Phase 3 construction is now complete and the full park is open for public use. Please remember that all parks close at dark each evening.
Rescue Squad Park- Construction of the new turf field is now complete. The field will be available for public use and scheduled team practices starting in August. Please remember that no pets are allowed on the athletic fields. The dog park has reopened for usage at the site. Open play times will be posted soon at the field.
Splash Pads are Closed for the 2025 Season
The splash pads at West Lincoln Park in Vale and Beattys Ford Park in Denver close for the season at the end of September. During the month of September after Labor Day, the splash pads will only operate on Saturday and Sundays until the end of the month.
Please remember to follow the splash pad rules when visiting:
- No food or drinks allowed on splash pad
- No pets allowed on splash pad
- No bikes, scooters or skateboards on pad
- No glass containers allowed
- No climbing on elements
- Swim diapers are required
West Lincoln Park is located at 369 Hulls Grove Church Road in Vale and Beatty's Ford Park is located at 8335 Shipley Lane in Denver. If the splash pad isn't running and its during operational hours, touch the top of the yellow sensor pole on the splash pad. Our splash pads run on a timer that shuts them down when there is no activity. Activating the sensor will bring the features back into operation.
