Lincoln - Catawba County Line 

The county line map shows the possible affected parcels with the re-establishment of the Lincoln - Catawba County Line. This is not a final representation of changes that will be made. The re-establishment of the county line will not affect 2025 taxes. Tax changes will be made for the 2026 tax year.

Disclaimer: The General Assembly of North Carolina recently adopted Session Law 2025-30, which defines the Lincoln-Catawba County boundary line as the 2020 Census Line. The law also invalidates the boundary line recently determined by North Carolina Geodetic Survey in accordance with NC General Statutes in February of this year.  Based on Session Law 2025-30 House Bill 173 the Lincoln Catawba County "legal boundary line shall be depicted by the Census Redistricting Data P.L. 94-171 TIGER/Line Shapefiles associated with the 2020 federal decennial census.". Layers in this map provide a visual representation of the re-established boundary between Lincoln County and Catawba County and the affected parcels as dictated by Session Law 2025-30. Both counties are working on assessing the impacts to parcel mapping and will provide information as it becomes available.

This app includes a slider bar so latter years can be compared to more recent years. You are able to search by parcel ID, address, or owner name. This was produced in junction with the Soil and Water Conservation.

The purpose of this app is the aid the Citizens of Lincolnton and interested parties of the zoning requirements in city limits.

Lincolnton Ward
The purpose of this app is for the citizens of Lincolnton to be able to search their address, find what ward they live in and where the polling station is.
