Overview
Small area planning is one component of the 2007 Lincoln County Land Use Plan.
The three areas chosen for these plans were the intersection of Optimist Club Road and new Highway 16, the intersection of St. James Church Road and the new Highway 16 and the interchange at NC150 and the new NC 16. These three areas were chosen due to the imminent development pressure near the access to the new Highway 16.
These small area planning efforts will be further expanded on in the future and more areas will be chosen for small area plans to be developed.
