The Commission is charged with the responsibility of protecting our cultural heritage. It does this by having some control over the actions of some designated and historically significant private and public properties.
Purpose
The purpose of the Historical Properties Commission is to assist in the conservation of historic properties and promotes the use and conservation of historic properties for the education, pleasure, and enrichment of the residents of Lincoln County and the state as a whole.
